Molar · universal browser platform

Molar runs your app like a user — and proves it worked.

Say what should work in plain English. Molar drives a real browser, livestreams the viewport, and returns pass/fail with screenshots, Trace, and structured evidence your team — or coding agent — can act on.

No invented benchmarks. Instant Proof is live on molar.it · agents use MCP + CLI.

Platform

Your runs, intelligently evidenced.

Cartographer maps flows. Guard gates releases. Clones keep third parties hermetic. Trace lets you rewind what happened. Plumbing ties them together for humans and agents.

Cartographer

Seed a URL. Get a verified map of user flows and production-grade Playwright exports — not a pile of brittle selectors.

Explore Cartographer →

Guard + Mender

PR gating and production monitoring with evidence links. When something breaks, Mender can propose a fix tied to Trace — not a vibes-based comment.

Explore Guard →

Clones

Stateful local clones of Stripe, Twilio, email, auth, S3, and more — deterministic IDs, virtual clock, snapshot/restore. Customers never see a test.

Explore Clones →

Trace

Debugger-grade timeline: viewport replay, network, console, and AI decision context — so failures are reconstructable, not “works on my machine.”

For coding agents

Meet the agent harness that keeps up with your commits.

Agents write code. Molar verifies it in a real browser — MCP tools, CLI, livestream, and structured JSON — without waiting on a human QA cycle.

Read agent docs
CLI that agents can discover

molar verify, molar test, molar docs --json, and molar agent init — task-oriented routing so coding agents self-correct without a human reading a manual.

MCP-native tool surface

Invoke molar_run_task, molar_verify, molar_live_view, Clones spawn/restore, Trace, and Guard tools over MCP — OAuth 2.1 + PKCE for remote agents, stdio for local.

Instant Proof before signup

Paste a URL and a claim on molar.it/verify. Get browser evidence first — then decide whether to wire MCP, Guard, or the full app.

Loop

Say it. Run it. Keep the proof.

Three beats that mirror how teams and coding agents actually work — no bookmark graveyard, no “trust me” CI green.

01

Describe the claim

Plain English or .molar.md — login works, checkout totals $9, OTP arrives. Agents call the same path over MCP.

02

Drive a real browser

Stealth viewport, hermetic Clones when vendors are involved, livestream so you (or the agent) can watch.

03

Ship with evidence

Pass/fail, screenshots, Trace, structured JSON. Guard comments and Mender drafts cite proof — not vibes.

Trust

Built for hermetic runs and honest claims.

Production safety preflight, hostile-DNS refusal for live vendors in Clones, and marketing that refuses fake metrics.

Your customers never see a test

Clones keep Stripe, email, auth, and SMS off the real rails. Snapshots restore worlds so flaky shared sandboxes don’t poison your suite.

Evidence you can ship with

Every meaningful failure path ties back to Trace — viewport, network, and decision context — so PR comments and Mender drafts cite proof, not opinions.

Start

Prove it on your URL. Upgrade when the loop compounds.

Instant Proof is free to try. The app, MCP connector, Guard, Clones, and Trace are the same platform — pick the surface your workflow needs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about what Molar is — and what this v4 page is for.

What is Molar?

Molar is a universal browser-automation and verification platform: Cartographer (explore/export), Guard (PR + prod), Clones (hermetic vendors), Trace (replay/debug), plus Plumbing (control plane, MCP, CLI, dashboard).

How is this different from Playwright alone?

Playwright is the execution substrate agents and LLMs know best. Molar adds agentic exploration, scenario authoring, hermetic clones, PR gating, livestream, Trace evidence, and MCP/CLI so coding agents can verify changes without a human in the loop.

Can coding agents use Molar directly?

Yes. MCP tools and the molar CLI return structured output (including --json). Agents can call verify/run/live-view flows and self-correct from evidence.

Will Instant Proof charge real cards or email real users?

No. Clones and production-safety preflight exist so tests stay off live vendor rails. Instant Proof is the public stranger path to see a real browser verification before deeper setup.

What is this /v4/ page?

An isolated future marketing layout. Production molar.it root remains the live homepage until an explicit cutover. This page is noindex and versioned for iteration.

Where are docs?

Product docs: docs.molar.it. Quickstart marketing docs also live under molar.it/docs. Surface landings: cartographer / guard / clones / trace.molar.it.
